Escalante Rock Shop News Update End of Season / Year 2024

Greetings and Happy Holidays (no-election) New Year 2025.

Time for end of season#21 news. Instead of the season flying by faster than a speed-
ing bullet, it was quantum ("a discrete quantity of energy proportional in magnitude
to the frequency of the radiation it represents") this year, kinda. There were a few
exceptions that slowed the proportional magnitude, a couple instances relating to ear
level baby frequency screams. But, all in all everyone from ages 2 thru 100 seemed
to enjoy their stop. No one brought in anything personal like guns, threats, covid, politics
religion etc. and the only customer complaints were the shop hours weren’t always
posted or the out to lunch sign was up and it took a couple drive byes to find it open.
There were quite a few return and regular customers that showed up, which was good.

2024 was all about rocks, rock art, geology, peace, love, fun and tips at the rock shop,
kinda like an old 60’s scene. There was no discrimination, although on occasion
screaming baby flashbacks would enter the proprietor’s mind.

The infamous vintage 60’s peace design t-shirts weren’t big sellers this season and

shirts didn’t make it out of the box due to unexpected circumstances.
So maybe it wasn’t all love and peace for the t-shirt business.
No worldwide love or peace making any headlines anyway, just the usual insanity.
Not sure what 2025 will bring since the u.s.gov is changing hands to oblivian,
so doubtful on any worldwide love, peace or sanity fronts.

There were plenty of cell phone calls made at the shop. Cell phones are fully
in fashion & the rock shop makes a great stop & drop-off call point for everyone.
Great reception here. A couple can take care of both phone & shopping business.
The wife usually shops. Which PayPal phone account to use is decided later.

It was a fun season. Thanks to everyone that visited and gave us some business.
